J'Amy Tarr

J'Amy Tarr is a fashion designer based near San Francisco, California.

She designs modern womenswear emphasizing fit, craftsmanship and a bold point of view. Working with leather, J'Amy designs for a woman who makes a statement. J'Amy creates her own textile designs utilizing screen printing, fabric painting and leather applique techniques.

J'Amy earned an MFA in Fashion Design and Applied Textile Design from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. In 2003, J'Amy won a PID international design award presented in Korea. After graduating, she interned for Michael Kors on the women's collection.
